Exclusive to KWTV, Fat Sand introduce a cut from their Progression: Beginner DVD covering the basics of water relaunching a four-line C kite
The steps: 1. With the kite leading edge down, the kite will have made at least one half turn so there will be twists in the lines. Do not try to untwist them from this position. 2. Release the power in the kite as much as possible by pulling on the trim strap. 3. Swim hard towards the kite until it flips onto its back. 4. When the kite flips onto its back, stop swimming and pull on the bar on whichever side you want the kite to go to. 5. The kite will move to the side of the window you steered it to. Swim in the opposite direction to help position the kite across the wind ready for a relaunch. 6. Once the kite is at the edge of the wind window, steer the end of the kite that is already in the air up by pulling the same end of the bar. 7. As the kite launches, slowly pilot the kite to the top of the wind window.
